Joan, the founder of the MagnaBeat system is available to visit your school or organization!

Workshops & residencies are fun, interactive, engaging and a way to provide additional high quality, classroom- tested strategies and student engagement to the wonderful musical education you already provide for students. Our curriculum invites students into a world of music where they interact and learn together. Our custom curriculum is appropriate for school aged children. Your students will internalize how rhythms relate to the almighty steady beat/ pulse and to other rhythms. They will begin creating the feel of being part of a musical ensemble that starts together, stays together and stops together.

Children will learn:

  • Through play
  • The feeling of being part of an ensemble
  • Relationships between rhythms and rests
  • Why the steady beat/pulse is the foundation of making music

Workshop / Residency Booking Form

Workshops & Residency Rates

All bookings must be made through Hill Music. Contracts are between client & Hill Music. $200.00 Deposit due at time of booking.
  • Residency
  • $500/day + expenses
  • Introductory 2019 prices
  • Multi day discounts

    • 2 days: $450.00 per day plus travel, hotel, meals.
    • 3 days: $ 400.00 per day plus travel, hotel, meals.
  • $200.00 due at time of booking
  • Driving: Cost/mile as set by federal standards
  • Hotel Arrangements made by purchaser with Hill Music approval
  • Air Travel: Flight + Hotel arrangements made prior to arrival (with approval by Hill Music)
  • Workshop, Travel & Hotel arrangements to be made no less than 2 weeks prior to start of workshop.
